Peace of mind will come from calling your heart home. The inner nourishment we seek via the purest of inner freedom It will come when we stop enslaving the heart to the mind; using the mind as the body's task master and the primary source of our conscious focus. The body is the container of the subconscious mind. The mind constantly repeats what the heart has not released. Fear, scarcity and negative thoughts will be soothed and transformed in the most miraculous way when we recognize they are reactions to flags being sent from the body, the subconscious, so we will pay attention to our hearts. These flags are the inner self-fragments vying for your loving attention, seeking a mother who will finally offer them what they need so that the wounds, the stuck emotional energy, the tension patterns can release and you can finally be free. Grief is the balm of liberation.
When we talk about how it is essential that we die in order to be reborn, what that means is that we must open to our bodies and surrender to the process of grief. Grief is love. The body is trying to teach you about love, if only your mind will learn how to listen. The mind is scared of what truths may unfurl in the body because we are taught to fear change. Change is only scary when we are afraid of grief. Grieving is what dying really is when we are truly tapped into the aliveness of life. It is grieving that allows the heart to crack open to the healing balm of love. Grief is what changes us, melts us and reforms us. The body needs change, it freezes and calcifies when it is stagnant and stuck with emotions and memories. It is the mind that has formed a personality around defending itself from the truth living inside the pain. When we are alive but stagnant in the fear of being in our body, are we really living? Or the walking dead? The body holds the threads of the truth of who you are. Of what was. Of what wrote your nervous system. Of what will never be. Of what will release you. Of what will heal you. Of what longs to dream through you. Of next steps. Of connection to divine love longing to marry itself inside your heart. Your heart is where heaven and earth meets...in your body. The living earth of the heart-mind, where mind and heart and body once again work together, as a team rather than being pitted against one another. It is where our divine intelligence awakens as a balance of inner feminine and masculine. The body and heart move at a much slower pace than the mind. Our culture is moving too much at the pace of the neurotic mind and not at the intelligent pace of the heart or body, which move more like the trees, sun and the moon. There is much wisdom in slowing down to go faster. It's possible to move, to be in motion from a place of peace and stillness, a stillness we must continually remember to come home to. May you find peace. May your body transform from a place of pain to a place of love. May you discover the immense beauty of your heart. May you know that there is more love than you can possibly imagine.
